Sydney joined the WSLS 10 News team in June 2021.
She comes to Roanoke from Johnstown, Pennsylvania where she spent two years reporting for the NBC affiliate, WJAC as well as producing and anchoring weekend newscasts.
During her time there, Sydney covered several snowstorms, Black Lives Matter protests and homicide court cases.
She is a native Virginian, born and raised in Virginia Beach and graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg.
Sydney is excited to be back in her home state and learn more about the Star City.
