The Buffaloes went 6-5 in the fall, with the senior class having played 18 weeks of games in 2021. Thomas Rush's big-play afternoon looked like this: Three tackles, two sacks and assisting fans who fell a short distance near the north end zone after a retaining barrier broke. The Minnesota defensive lineman was one of several Gophers players and team personnel who came to the rescue when a fence gave way along the Minnesota sideline as the team celebrated following the game. The advertising signs helped brace the short fall — the Gophers mascot was knocked to the ground — and police quickly arrived to assist.

Hollingshed had a career-high 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Buffaloes (6-6, 4-5 Pac-12). Ehlinger missed the second half after sustaining a shoulder injury in the second quarter. Thompson started the second half in place of Ehlinger and led Texas to a touchdown on its opening possession. Texas: The Longhorns found a capable replacement for Ehlinger in Thompson.

Beale and company ready for a productive 2019 season for Floyd County
FLOYD, Va. - The Floyd County Buffaloes are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2-8 finish in 2018. But head coach Winfred Beale still has 221 wins at Floyd County, and 2019 marks his 39th season. They return 10 seniors and a lot of offensive output and the motivation to get this year started on the right foot.
