The Roanoke Valley SPCA is holding Best in Show. It's one of three significant annual fundraising events for the organization, whose primary function is saving dogs and cats via adoption.

The festival begins at 10:00 AM in the plaza behind the City Market Building, while the parade itself kicks off at an hour later at 11:00 AM. The parade begins on Jefferson Street at Elm Avenue, continues on to Campbell Avenue stretches all the way to Williamson Road.
