E.C. Glass High School may be losing a principal many describe as a steady hand.

Wednesday night provided teams across Virginia another opportunity to punch their tickets to the state tournament, including Salem girls basketball and E.C. Glass boys basketball.

A special surprise Tuesday at E.C. Glass High School, as one teacher learned she is among the best of the best.

A “Crime Scene Investigation” Competition was held at Ferrum College on Friday, and was attended by Franklin County High School and E.C. Glass High School students.

No one was hurt after a school bus caught fire at E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, according to the Lynchburg Fire Department.

The event, originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday, featured a slate of 8 games on Saturday along with the inaugural 3-point contest.
