ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - WSLS and Habitat for Humanity are teaming up this month to build a home for a family in need. Veronica Garcia lives in Roanoke with her three children.

Officials say she will receive the keys to the new home on Rorer Avenue just in time for Christmas.

Crews will have three weeks to complete the project by the December 19 deadline.

When finished, the home will be more than 1,800 square feet.

Hundreds of volunteers will take part in constructing the home.
