ROANOKE – A scientist in the making, Eric's bright and analytical nature is perfectly inclined toward his scientific endeavors. He does well in school and aspires to become a forensic pathologist. A natural introvert, Eric has a good heart and is courteous and respectful, leaving a lasting impression on all those who are lucky enough to meet him.

The 16-year old is optimistic about his future and deserves a loving family who can nurture his growth and provide stability as he matures into a healthy and successful young man. He does best in structured, well-organized environments and benefits from opportunities to process in times of conflict.

There are more than 800 children who are ready for foster to adoption in Virginia. They are ready to find a permanent and loving forever family. 10 News is profiling one child who needs a home every day at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. in 30 Days of Hope. Connecting Hearts- A Deborah J Johnston Charity  celebrates National Adoption Month to bring awareness to 30 kids or siblings who are available for forever homes, but also to shed light on hundreds of other children who may not be seen.
