The Roanoke Fire Department announced Wednesday that three people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, and one was transported with critical injuries after a fire in Northwest Wednesday morning.

Roanoke Fire Crews are currently on the scene of a working fire in the 1600 block of Dale Ave. Southeast Tuesday afternoon, according to Roanoke Fire and EMS.

The Roanoke Fire Department announced one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries after a structure fire in Southwest Sunday evening.

“I see the cloud, and I prayed to the Lord to take care of the person that is having the problem, and when I got here, I found our house on fire,” Jose Velez-Figueroa said.

Four firefighters were injured while responding to a house fire in Northwest Roanoke, Roanoke Fire-EMS Chief David Hoback said.

ROANOKE, Va. – Four people, including three children, are without a home after a fire on Thursday morning. Two pets were also displaced. Firefighters responded to the home in the 1800 block of Westview Avenue just before 9 a.m., according to the Roanoke Fire Department. They found a lot of smoke coming from the house. The fire was contained to the room of origin, but there is smoke damage throughout the house.
