Other than Roanoke, new restaurants are planned in 35 other locations, including four others in Norfolk, Charlottesville, Henrico and Richmond. The person last worked on June 24 and doesnโt work in a customer-facing role, according to Darden. The employee told their employers about the positive test result on Tuesday. This is now the fourth restaurant in the Valley View area of Roanoke to report a positive case among its employees. The Olive Garden employee canโt return to work until they have a written medical release or meet requirements to return to work per CDC guidelines, according to Darden.

This comes after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. According to Abueloโs, other employees who were exposed will be in quarantine for the standard amount of time.
