Our air temperatures have certainly made for a FRIDGID start! Our feels-like temperatures have plummeted into the teens, single digits, and even a few spots below zero this morning! This morning is the perfect time for the big coat, mittens, and hat!

A Weather Authority Alert Day has been issued for Sunday and Monday for dangerous wind chills that will enter the area following an arctic front.

Wind chill is the big story for the day, with the real feel staying in the 20s for most of the region.

Temperatures are a bit warmer Wednesday morning, with most spots in the low to mid 30s.

Wind Chill values throughout Thursday morning will reach dangerously cold levels. Both the Highlands and New River Valley Zones will dip into the single digits or below zero by 8:00AM.
