Dry conditions and shifting winds are contributing to higher fire danger today.

The Craig Botetourt Scenic Trail will run parallel to Craigs Creek, 26 miles from New Castle to Eagle Rock, county officials said.

According to the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office, all fire units have cleared the scene.

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. – A tornado warning issued for Botetourt County and Rockbridge County has expired. The warning covered southwestern Rockbridge County and north-central Botetourt County.
