DANVILLE, Va. A woman is dead after police say she was in a car crash in Danville on Thursday morning. Authorities say the crash happened around 7:35 a.m. in the 1000 block of Piney Forest Road when Wilda Clear, 65, pulled into the southbound lanes of Piney Forest Road in her white 2001 Honda Civic. According to police, she was then hit on the drivers side by a 2017 silver Honda Accord. The driver of the Honda Accord reportedly suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. Police say the crash is still under investigation.

WYTHE CO., Va. – Virginia State Police is investigating a deadly crash in Wythe County. According to the police, the crash happened Saturday around 3:30 p.m. on route 69. A Honda Accord crossed the center line and struck a Ford Taurus traveling in the opposite lane. The adult male driver of the Honda died at the scene. The adult male driver of the Taurus was flown to Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. - A Richmond man died after a single-vehicle crash in Halifax County. The crash happened on Sunday just before 4 a.m. on Route 58, less than a mile west of Sandy Beach Road. The driver, Terrence Tyler, 21, died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Virginia State Police. The Virginia State Police is investigating the crash.

CNN(CNN) - A Missouri man who survived a week at the bottom of a ravine after his car went off the road has died, police said Sunday. Ryan Linneman, 37, died as a result of injuries sustained in the incident, according to Sgt. Chris Depue, a spokesman for the Lee's Summit Police Department. Linneman was found a week after his family reported him missing on October 10. Linneman was taken to the hospital in critical condition with multiple fractures and severe frostbite, Depue said at the time.
