For the second consecutive season, the week two match up is being featured for our 1st and 10 Game of the Week.

The two schools sit in bordering counties making for quite the non-district battle.

Hidden Valley and Glenvar both advance to the state semifinals on the volleyball court.

Nearly three months ago, the members of the Rustburg softball team were unsure if they would even have a season.

The Red Devils are one win from a state softball title.

It’s been nearly three decades since Rustburg’s volleyball team has won a state championship.

The Rustburg Red Devils beat Hidden Valley Tuesday in the Class 3 Volleyball State Semifinals 3-1: 25-16, 27-25 (HV), 25-19, 25-21.

The Minutemen and Red Devils may not have been playing for the postseason, but both teams left it all out on the field on Friday night.

RUSTBURG, Va. – Brookville buzzed to a 49-8 win on Friday night. The Bees look to wrap up a perfect regular season next week as they face Jefferson Forest.
