A windy day ahead with some rain chances on the side!

A hot day today, but tomorrow brings rain and possibly some pretty windy conditions!

A warm start to the weekend across Southwest and Central Virginia is expected to shift to rainy and potentially stormy weather by Sunday, according to 10 News meteorologist Parker Beasley. Temperatures will soar above average Saturday before rain and a chance of severe storms return Sunday.

Scattered showers are moving out as Central and Southwest Virginia look forward to clearing skies, warming temperatures, and breezy days following the Nor’easter's influence, according to 10 News's meteorologist Jeff Haniewich.
