The Appomattox County Raiders continued their dominance on Friday night en route to a 48-21 win over Glenvar in the Region 2C title game.

It took some time for this game to get going due to delays, but that did not slow down Appomattox County.

APPOMATTOX COUNTY, Va. – Appomattox County defended home field Friday night, beating Dogwood District rival Gretna 35-14 to advance to the state semifinal. Appomattox County was state champion in 2015, 2016 and 2017. The Raiders will host the winner of the Central-Wise/Graham game on Saturday.
