The Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) has completed its newly renovated free-roam room for cats. This remodeled space is designed to help felines feel more comfortable while they wait for their forever homes.

A batch of puppies was dropped off at the Regional Center for Animal Care & Protection late on Sunday night, and the center is now asking for the owner to come forward.

ROANOKE, Va. – Lucky is a gorgeous panther cat who is 10 years old and sweet as she can be. She arrived at RCACP when her owner surrendered her in the beginning of June through no fault of her own, according to RCACP staff. She’s a little shy, but actively seeks attention and loves a good head rub. Lucky would do best in a quiet home without small children and a sunny spot to call her own. ROANOKE, Va. A special cat that is no stranger to a Roanoke animal shelter may finally have found its furever home. The average weight of an adult cat is 8 to 10 pounds. On Tuesday, a family agreed to foster her from the Roanoke Center for Animal Care and Adoption to see if shell be a good fit for the family. She was surrendered by her owner earlier this year and was surrendered by her previous owner last year. She is a phenomenal cat, but is a very independent spirit.
