PULASKI, Va. โ A small act of kindness can go a long way and the Pulaski County Police Department is well aware of that. This week, the Department donated $500 worth of clothing to Pulaski Elementary School so students in need could receive winter coats. The clothes will also be used for students who have accidents during the school day. Police also reached out to Critzer Elementary, but school officials said they had enough from last yearโs donation.

Cat dies after being shot with arrow in Pulaski
PULASKI, Va. โ A cat found in Pulaski after being shot by an arrow has died, according to the Pulaski Police Department. Dec. 6, 2020Pulaski police said a cat was shot with an arrow on Sunday. Police responded to the 100 block of South Madison Ave after a report of a cat injured from an arrow. According to police, the arrow narrowly missed the catโs spine but was still embedded when the cat was found. Animal Control transported the cat to receive immediate medical care.

One man dead after a shooting in Pulaski
PULASKI, Va. โ A man is dead after a shooting in Pulaski that happened early Wednesday morning, according to police. At 1:33 a.m., the Town of Pulaski Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Newbern Road about a shooting with a report of injuries. According to authorities, officers discovered a man suffering an apparent gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said thereโs no ongoing threat to the community and there are no persons of interest currently.
Man wanted by Pulaski police for reckless handling of firearm, distribution of meth
PULASKI, Va. โ The Pulaski Police Department is searching for a 30-year-old man with multiple charges, according to authorities. Police said Perish Rome Gambill is wanted for probation violation, reckless handling of a firearm, concealed weapons, obstruction of justice, distribution of meth and conspire to distribute meth. Authorities describe him as six feet tall and said he weighs 235 pounds. Gambill is also wanted for capias by Pulaski Circuit Court.
Missing teenage girl in Pulaski found safe

Authorities describe her as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and about weighs 120 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Duo arrested following drug deal, abduction in Pulaski, police say
PULASKI, Va. Pulaski police arrested two people believed to have been holding someone at gunpoint on Tuesday morning, according to the police department. At 10:34 a.m., police responded to the Washington Square Apartments after being told that suspicious people were possible holding someone at gunpoint. Officers arrived to find Eric Garrand Cherry, 63, of Whitsett, North Carolina, and Chrisley Ann Adkins-Davis, 40, of Greensboro, North Carolina. They identified the two as suspects in an alleged robbery and abduction that stemmed from a drug deal, according to the Police Department. Cherry and Adkins-Davis each face two charges of abduction and one count of robbery.
